Best Cosmetic Fat Injection in New Jersey
Fat injection/transfer, also known as lipoinjection, gives your face a fuller, more youthful shape. The fat is removed from your body and is re-injected at key locations to fill out sunken contours and deep creases. Because it is necessary to use a mini liposuction technique to remove the fat from your body in order to re-inject it, fat injection is a more involved process than other injectable fillers.
Where will my Lipoinjection be performed?
All fat injection surgeries are performed at Ganchi Plastic Surgery Center. Our Plastic Surgery Practice is located in Wayne, New Jersey, where we welcome local and out of town guests for consultations and the best fat injection in New Jersey.
The fat injection procedure
At the start of a fat transfer, local anesthesia is administered to the donor site or sites. Sedation anesthesia may also be given. Precise and gentle mini liposuction is then performed on the selected donor areas (typically regions with excess stubborn fat like the abdomen or thighs).
Once the fat cells have been carefully harvested, they will be purified to ensure that only the healthiest cells are being transferred. Dead and damaged fat cells will be removed, along with any other unnecessary materials.
Finally, the purified fat cells will be precisely and evenly injected into the target areas of the face at various depths. This process can take time, since proper placement leads to longer-lasting results.
Once the fat transfer is complete, the healing and recovery process begins. A degree of swelling and bruising will be present at the donor and transfer sites, but they will fade in time. Wearing a compression garment in the donor region can help with this process.
Patients may typically take up to two weeks of time off from work to rest and recover. Normal non-physical household tasks can be performed again in around three days from the procedure date.
How much do fat injections cost?
The price of a fat injection procedure varies based on a number of factors. The cost of fat grafting may be affected by anesthesia costs, the amount of fat being transferred, and total procedure time.
