This patient had breast augmentation done elsewhere and over time, they became hard, painful and higher in position (capsular contracture). Dr. Ganchi performed a breast implant exchange surgery and capsulotomy by cleaning the pocket and removing the thickened capsule/ scar tissue that developed around the implant.
