This patient had a breast implant deflation of her saline implants which caused a noticeable loss of volume, flattening and asymmetry of her breasts. The old implants were removed (explanted) and new implants were replaced (breast implant exchange). Since most of the stretching of tissues has already occurred, recovery of a breast implant exchange surgery is relatively simple with minimal discomfort.
